For the creation of any genetic material / inbred lines our breeder use the usual methods of crop improvement i.e that introduction , selection , self pollination, sib pollination and sometime by the combination of both procedures for numeroud season.

To start with, we got the corn materials for our breeding program from local germplasm collected from various part of the company.

Selfing of the materials along with rigorous selection in the next generation was started to get the homozygous inbrid lines. After six season/generation continous selfing and selection, then breeder started to select yield promising inbreeds. Then we pool these materials for making hybrid combination using the conventional breeding techniques.

The hybrid combination were put in screening trials along with best selling hybrids in the market as well as with internal system hybrids.
